This Autumn term has seen a significant number of our alumni returning to the prestigious rooms of Old College for their respective reunions. Since September, nine reunions have already taken place, each well attended and warmly supported by our alumni community.

Diverse and Milestone Celebrations

This term’s reunions have spanned a wide range of milestone anniversaries, including 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, and 40th reunions. Amongst these, several gatherings deserve special mention:

On Friday 26th and Saturday 27th September reunions were held for Somme Coy SGC 853 and WRAC 853 respectively. Both were celebrating the 40th anniversary of their arrival at RMAS. These cohorts mostly trained concurrently but came together for some initial basic tactics, shared academic studies in Faraday Hall and central lectures in Churchill Hall.

At the beginning of October three Platoons from CC 943 held separate reunions over two weekends, marking the 30th anniversary of their Commissioning.

Strengthening Alumni Connections

These reunions reinforce the importance of maintaining strong alumni networks for the Sandhurst Trust. They provide an opportunity for former cadets to reconnect, relive shared experiences, and celebrate the beginnings of lifelong friendships in the very setting where it all began.

2026 and Beyond

Our reunions continue to be extremely popular. The 2026 calendar is almost fully booked, with some alumni planning well ahead, including three reunions already scheduled for 2027 and three for 2029.
