Who can be a ST Member

Those who have commissioned/graduated from RMAS.

Those who served at commissioned rank in the British Army (Regular, TA, Reserve, ACF/CCF) regardless of entry method (e.g Mons).

Those who have served on the staff of RMAS (military or civilian).

Those serving in University OTCs.

Sandhurst Medal

The Sandhurst Medal was introduced in 2016 to recognise the extraordinary achievement of those International Cadets who successfully complete the Regular Commissioning Course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) In 2022, the Sandhurst Medal was extended to include those International Cadets, successfully completing the Commissioning Course Short (CCS).

Each year over 120 medals are awarded by the Commandant to International Cadets on each course.

Alumni who commissioned before 2016 are able to purchase the Sandhurst Medal from the Sandhurst Trust. Currently the medal is £250 (£230 for Sandhurst Trust Members) plus postage which will be calculated depending on location.
