As the festive season unfolds, the Royal Memorial Chapel came alive on Thursday 7th December for the annual Sandhurst Trust Member’s Carol Concert. Under the watchful eye of the Royal Memorial Chapel Padres, nearly one hundred of our members were joined by Academy Staff, families and those from the Chapel community for an unforgettable evening of Carols and Christmas readings.

The congregation were treated to a number of Christmas classics such as O Come all ye faithful, Oh little town of Bethlehem, God Rest Ye Merry gentlemen,  Once in Royal David City and Hark the Herald Angels sing.

Readings on the night were made by Royal Memorial Chapel Padres, Director Sandhurst Trust and members of the chapel community.

The event was made even more special as the music was accompanied by the Brass section from the British Army Band Sandhurst.

After the Concert, members were treated to a traditional Army Curry Supper in the Indian Army Memorial Room where guests enjoyed meeting other Sandhurst trust members, their families and Sandhurst Trust staff and trustees.

'Just a short note to thank you for such a lovely evening. We had a wonderful time, the service was a perfect opportunity to let blast with some popular favourites, the choir was sublime and the meal excellent. We shall look forward to next year!'

'I write to thank you and all the Trust team for the splendid Carol Service event last evening. The  service was uplifting and my wife Juanita, daughter Jennie and I enjoyed singing in such an iconic setting.  I appreciate the Chapel even more now than I did when I was a cadet. We will come again next time.'

Many thanks to the following who made the evening such a success.
