Office Cadet Welfare
A significant proportion of the Sandhurst Trust's resources are dedicated to officer welfare support, ensuring that cadets can focus on their demanding training without the added burden of financial worries.
Our welfare fund provides essential grants to ensure that no cadet is hindered in their training by financial hardship.
This support can cover essential items like, travel costs, benevolence, rehabilitation or other necessary expenses.
Referrals
Initial referrals are forwarded to the charity through the established welfare chain via the College Welfare Warrant Officers, Station Staff Officer, Padres or Chain of Command. Cases are assessed and grants usually provided within 24 hours. The process is discreet, and the Trust does not give out details of the cases.
All Officer Cadets, both British and International, are eligible as well as all Officer and NCO staff serving at the Academy and their immediate family.
Serving and retired officers can also seek support where other avenues have failed.

This includes covering costs for medical treatment, accommodation during family emergencies, and compassionate travel. We act quickly to ensure help is provided when it is most needed, often within 24 hours. At the Sandhurst Trust, we are proud to stand alongside RMAS staff and their families.
