Tickets are not to be swapped with other Officer Cadets
All guests must have photo ID for the gate.
The Commissioning Ball for CC 223 will take place on Friday 11th August 2023 after the Sovereign's Parade.
The Sandhurst Trust runs the Commissioning Ball on behalf of New College and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
All planning and decisions are authorised by the Chief of Staff and his decision is final. Your understanding on this is appreciated.
The Commissioning Ball is run as a fundraising event by the Sandhurst Trust. Registered Charity No. 1154476.
• Mess Dress officer cadets
• Gentlemen - Black tie, including military (no medals)
• Ladies – Cocktail or Gown - A dress can be full length or knee-length, but no shorter, and should only reveal a little décolletage. Trousers are another acceptable option for ladies. Although the dress code is ‘black tie’, dresses do not need to be black.
• Dress Code will be strictly enforced throughout the evening. Dinner Jackets, bow ties and shoes must be worn at all times.
All guests must be 18 to attend the Commissioning Ball.
All guest must have photo ID to show at the gate for entry and if requested during the evening by RMAS staff or security.
Officer Cadets are responsible for their guests and their behaviour at all time during the evening.
No alcohol is to be brought onto the site. Alcohol will be taken away and not returned.
Officer Cadets must not swap tickets amongst themselves.
Officer Cadets can purchase 6 tickets in total (5 guests and themself)

• Include dietary requirements and allergies.
Please note that refunds carry a charge so we suggest you double check your order.
Tickets are not to be swapped between cadets. Entry may be denied.
Guest names cannot be changed after 5pm Wednesday 9th August.
Guests turning up at the gate who are not on the nominal role will be denied entry.
Guests turning up at the gate without photo ID will be held at the gate until the nominated Officer Cadet turns up and authorises them. This will not be done over the phone.
Importantly, there is no parking or accommodation available on site for guests.
