Platinum Jubilee Statue for HM Queen Elizabeth II at Roya Military Academy Sandhurst

To commemorate Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee a mounted statue has been installed at Sandhurst and was unveiled on 27 May 2022 by HRH The Earl of Wessex

Sculpted by Caroline Wallace, The statue is modelled on Her Majesty at Trooping the Colour in 1984, the last time Her Majesty rode her favourite horse Burmese and was dressed in the Grenadier Guards uniform.

The Statue stands alongside the road to Old College so all cadets will pass on their way to their Commissioning Parade.

Our RMAS Historical Tours take in this new statue.  To find out more about our tours and how to book please visit our tours page.(ADD LINK)
