Rooms within the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst are bookable via the Sandhurst Trust for an array of private functions including charity balls, club lunches and formal dinners.

Extensive menu to cover breakfast, lunch and special dinners. All dietary requirements catered for including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, diary free and halal.

Rooms and Facilites

Without doubt the most iconic building within the Academy, Old College offers organisers the opportunity to run a totally unique event within a building with over 200 years of military history.

Choose from unique prestige rooms, many which overlook the impressive Old College Parade Square with seating for 12 to 80 people.

Charity Dinners

The largest dining room in Old College available is perfect for charity balls, galas and award nights.

Previous clients include Combat Stress, ABF, Sebastian's Action Trust and the Pride of Bracknell.

Private Parties

Sandhurst has two external sport pavilions, close to Old College. 

The location of the venues, away from the busier areas of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, make these pavilions a perfect choice for less formal gatherings such as private birthday parties.

Please note these venues are only bookable by RMAS staff, serving or retired military personnel.

Terms and Conditions - Events

Things to note

Due to the unique environment, history and security of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, we are a very popular choice for events. To ensure maximum chance of holding an event here, on your preferred date we would like to draw your attention to the following:

  1. As a working military academy, all events need to be deconflicted with core military activities.  This means last minute events are very difficult to book in and your understanding on this is appreciated.
  2. Where possible we suggest you provide a number of different dates, especially for bigger events. If you are looking for a set date, it may be your first choice room is already booked. We will look to offer you the nearest available room/facility.
  3. Timescales for approval and planning differ but we suggest the following lead times are a good working point when starting the process.

Large events over 100 – 6 months notice

Smaller events up to 50 - 3 months notice

All guests are required to carry photo ID for the duration of the event at the Academy. 

A nominal role of all guests is needed 72 hours prior to the event.
